Dave from Kent won a bespoke Garfield recliner after visiting the La-Z-Boy UK Garfield roadshow at the Showcase Cinema in Bluewater. He snapped a selfie in one of the special La-Z-Cat chairs and shared the image on social media with the hashtag #lazcat to win the price.
The feline-themed La-Z-Boy is just one of five which have been created specially to celebrate the release of The Garfield Movie on May 24.
The competition was part of a wider Garfield collaboration, which saw the world’s laziest cat take over our social media accounts and website.
Another competition winner – Philippa Payne – is now enjoying her own lazy moments on a two-seater power recliner she chose as a prize. Philippa had entered the NFL UK Countdown to Christmas competition, which ran across the American football league’s social channels.
After being named as the winner, Philippa scooped a La-Z-Boy product of her choice up to the value of £5,000.
She chose the La-Z-Boy Austin two-seater sofa with power recline, power head tilt and heated sears in the Darwin fabric lavender. Her prize was delivered to her home in Ealing by our couriers Grays Transport, who provide an excellent white glove service.
Philippa was pleased with both the service and delivery and even posed for a picture with the Grays Transport official bear after her sofa was set up in her living room ready for her to enjoy for years to come.
