Two competition winners are now enjoying relaxing on La-Z-Boy furniture they received as prizes.
Wendy Jones from Walsall is now the proud owner of a La-Z-Boy Spectator chair, which had taken pride of place in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the NFL London Games. She had entered our online Black Friday competition to win the chair, which has a unique blue and white NFL-inspired colourway.
Entrants simply had to like and follow La-Z-Boy UK on social media and complete tasks online to earn chances to win one of the chairs, which featured in our Best Seats in the House VIP area at the NFL American football matches held in London during October.
Wendy was delighted to receive her Spectator, which features the iconic La-Z-Boy handle recline technology. It can be used as a rocker as well as a recliner and has two in-built cup holders for drinks and snacks.
And we gave away a whole package of prizes worth more than £5,000 to Emma Jane Foster, who was the winner of our Kendal Calling competition. Emma received a three-seater power recline sofa and matching power recline chair from our Washington range as well as a pair of tickets to this summer’s Kendal Calling festival.
The contest was held in honour of our nomination in the Best Brand Activation category of the UK Festival Awards. We were in the running for the prestigious award for our brand partnership with Kendal Calling last summer , which including sponsorship of the Picture House cinema tent and the positioning of La-Z-Boy sofas at key sites across the festival.
