How can I watch NFL’s London Games at home?
The NFL 2022/23 season has started and the first of three games being held in London will take place this weekend.
The Minnesota Vikings will be playing the New Orleans Saints at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday as part of the NFL London Games. The second game will take place at 2.30pm on Sunday, October 9, again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but this time the New York Giants will be taking on the Green Bay Packers.
La-Z-Boy UK has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with the NFL and will be providing the ‘best seats in the house’ for the Tottenham-based fixtures.
The third and final NFL game to take place on UK soil this year will be at Wembley Stadium when the Jacksonville Jaguars play the Denver Broncos at 1.30pm on Sunday, October 30. Tickets for all three of the games sold out quickly, leaving thousands of fans disappointed.
But don’t worry if you weren’t lucky enough to get your hands on tickets to any of the NFL London Games. You’ll still be able to enjoy the action from the comfort of your own living room.
Where can I watch the NFL London Games on TV?
ITV will be showing two of the three London games – the New York Giants versus the Green Bay Packers on October 9 and the Jacksonville Jaguars versus the Denver Broncos on October 30.
However, the first fixture this Sunday will not be shown live on terrestrial TV. However, there is a weekly NFL Show on ITV1 starring former NFL players Jason Bell and Osi Umenyiora, which will be screened at 11.30pm every Friday.
Sky Sports customers will be able to watch all three of the NFL London Games on Sky’s dedicated NFL channel. Sky Sports NFL is found on channel 407 and screens news and reaction alongside the matches themselves. Virgin Media customers who subscribe can watch Sky Sports NFL on channel 507.
If you don’t already subscribe to Sky Sports packages and don’t want to become a customer, you can pay for the NFL Game Pass where you can watch the games live or on demand. There are three levels of game pass, including a free option which will give you access to game highlights and round-ups.
Customers can choose to subscribe to the most expensive level of NFL Games Pass – the PRO option which includes live coverage of all the fixtures – on a weekly basis, paying £14.99 for seven days access.
