La-Z-Boy UK has won an award for its stand at the January Furniture Show (JFS) in Birmingham.

The iconic recliner brand exhibited 19 different ranges at the trade show, which is attended by retailers, buyers and industry experts. And the stand, which showcased the furniture in relaxed and stylish living room settings, caught the eye of the event’s judges who gave La-Z-Boy UK the ‘Best Stand Award for Hall 5’.

JFS was an opportunity for people within the furniture industry to see a number of new collections, which will be stocked by retailers and available to consumers later this year. There are 10 new ranges for 2025 and four of them - Huxley, Jarvis, Jude and Florence – were unveiled for the very first time at the show.

The four new product ranges include a number of features to make enjoying a lazy moment even easier. This includes a choice of console units offering wireless charging and storage, with one allowing users to turn their wireless charging points into useful cup holders.

A further six new ranges – Pebble, Essence, Faith, Jasmine, Skye and River, had been previewed at The Long Point Show in September. And after positive feedback from retailers, buyers and stockists, they were introduced at JFS in their own section of the La-Z-Boy UK stand.

These product ranges are aimed at fashion-focused and design-conscious consumers looking to make a stylish statement in their homes. They include modern modular sofas can be put together to create customised pieces to fit the living space and teamed up with distinctive accent chairs.

Ideal for open-plan living spaces and contemporary luxury apartments, each collection has its own unique look designed to stand out from the crowd. The collections also feature discreet power recline technology operated at the touch of a button.

Visitors to the stand were also the first to see the Baxter range in premium-quality Italian leather. Baxter is the first of La-Z-Boy UK’s Made in Britain collections to become available in leather as well as fabric, increasing the choice available to consumers who want to support UK manufacturing and buy British.

There was also a video showing a range of highlights from 2024, including events, competitions and media coverage. These included the NFL London Games and the collaboration with The Garfield Movie, which saw the world’s laziest feline hijack the brand’s famous logo and replace it with La-Z-Cat.

All of the newest collections will be available to order in stores around the UK later this year. To find out more about our new products as they are released, as well as any special offers and competitions, follow us on Instagram @lazboyuk or like our Facebook page.
